I struggle with core strength. Two kids did a number on my core…slowly but surely I’m getting there.

Part One
Plank & Stretch Out: 10, 12
Double Touch with Balance Ball: 15, 12
Leg Switch & Heel Touch: 23, 35 (modified)

Part Two
Diagonal Oblique Climber Jump: 21, 20, 22, 19, 22, 24

I completed this ab workout after ZWOW #7 and Bodyripped 4 Minute Tabata.

Circuit One
Curtsy Lunge – 60 sec
Push-up to Side Plank Alternating Sides – 60 sec
Alternating V-Ups – 60 sec

Circuit Two
Lateral Squat Shuffle – 60 sec
Deep Lunge Alternating Press – 60 sec
Side Plank Kick Out (30 sec per side)

Circuit Three
Deep Lunge Chest Fly (30 sec per side)
Plank Fire – 60 sec
Bicycles – 60 sec

Circuit Four (3 rounds 60/30)
Tire Flips – 60 sec
Plank Knee Drives – 30 sec
Table Tops – 30 sec

My Workout Today

This was my first workout after our arrival in South Africa. I changed it up a bit by doing each circuit twice through before moving onto the next one. I also changed the length of the intervals and made it 24 rounds 60 seconds work and 10 seconds rest.

I used canned vegetables for weights. It’s all I had.
